My Spring 2010 Runway Fave's!

The spring 2010 rtw runways have been out for a while now, and with spring teasing us here in Seattle, I thought I would post some of my print favorites from the runways - as I'm sure many of you are already enjoying a beautiful spring!

ALWAYS a favorite of mine is Anna Sui. Actually, I think she IS my favorite runway designer. Her print mixing, color stories and texturally interesting fabrics make my mouth drop every time. Always feminine. Always earthy. Always inspiring. This season captivated me for sure, because I heart the 60s inspired prints!

It goes without mention, that Basso & Brooke is another favorite of mine. They do amazing things with digital printing that always captivate me! I LOVE the geometric star-like patterns with fluid distortion, and how they mixed them with black and white contrasting prints! Just beautiful! From my runway research, stripes are definitely trending forward - stripes with movement and painted stripes being the fresh new focus.

I really loved what Diane von Furstenberg did this season as well! Such an inspiring mix of beautiful, nomadic and feminine prints! Each one with it's own personality and story to tell.

I love how Etro uniquely mixed-up the layout of their beautiful paisley's and florals by including borders, larger motifs and unique placement concepts.

Dries Van Noten did an absolutely stunning job mixing eclectic, ethnic prints together for a fresh look.

Kenzo gave a fresh update to classic prints such as stripes, plaids and dots, keeping in trend with the ethnic & nomadic traveler theme. And I love the mosaic tile medallion print!

The Spring 2010 runways were overflowing with print inspiration! What excites me most is the opportunity for print to continue strong into 2011 - YAY! I hope these images get you inspired and excited about spring!
